Having
returned to the UK in 2005 after nearly 5 years in Central America and Mexico, we created Cafe Guate as a family
business. We aim to bring the finest coffees of Guatemala and other Central and Latin
American countries to the attention of the increasingly discerning coffee lovers of Great Britain. Colonel Grumpy's
Coffee Bus will bring these fine coffees and craft products to a range of public and private events.

The Blair-Pilling family with their barista coach Annette Moldvaer |
A key objective is to help the deserving people of Guatemala
and their neighbours to develop their markets and hence their economic and social well being.
We embrace the ethical objectives
of the fair trade movements, and support and pursue policies that will help the hard working and industrious people
of Central America to achieve commerical success and hence long term economic and social prosperity and conservation of their
environment.
We believe that the key to this is
the competitive pusuance of quality associated with mechanisms that pass on the benefits of achievement to the producers.
